It arrived in 1995 fully formed, lovingly crafted, and entirely in monochrome. Nintendo never gave it a DX upgrade. Kirby's Dream Land 2 DX by kkzero (v1.2) doesn't just fill that gap — it sets the bar for what a community-made colorization can achieve. Rather than simply assigning palette swaps, kkzero rebuilt the game's visual layer from the ground up and then pushed even further, exploiting the Custom cartridge, plug and play. Compatible: GBC, GBA, GBA SP.
