Released in 1991 for the original Game Boy, its stark monochrome visuals actually served the mood well. But the Game Boy Color era came and went without an official DX treatment, leaving Return of Samus as the only mainline Metroid title never to receive a color upgrade. The EJRTQ colorization corrects that. This fan-made GBC hack gives Metroid II the full color conversion it was always owed — Custom cartridge, plug and play. Compatible: GBC, GBA, GBA SP.
